Bijay, joined us in April 2024 and comes with an impressive repertoire cultivated across continents, our chef's journey has taken him from the vibrant flavors of South America to the mystical kitchens of Nepal and the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine.

Notably, he served as the visionary force behind the culinary excellence at the esteemed Bombay Bicycle Club for 15 years, honing his craft and earning acclaim as a maestro of Indian and pan-Asian cuisine. His tenure there was marked by innovative creations and a commitment to elevating traditional dishes to new heights.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and catering industry, Abhishek is the driving force behind The Royal Sun’s exceptional service and vibrant atmosphere. Originally from Nepal, his career has taken him across the Middle East, India, and the UK, where he has successfully managed and developed some of the finest bars and restaurants. His passion for hospitality, combined with his expertise in running successful establishments, ensures that every guest at The Royal Sun enjoys an outstanding experience.

Abhishek’s journey in the industry began with a deep fascination for food, drinks, and customer service. Over the years, he has honed his skills in bar and restaurant management, working in diverse cultural and culinary landscapes. His ability to adapt and innovate has allowed him to create unique dining and drinking experiences, making each venue he manages a favorite among guests.

Beyond management, Abhishek’s true passion lies in drinks and events. As a trained cocktail bartender and mixologist, he brings creativity and flair to The Royal Sun’s bar, crafting expertly mixed cocktails and curating exciting drink menus. Though he has worked in high-level corporate roles, his heart has always been in hospitality—an industry he first stepped into at just 15 years old. Over the years, Rashel has gained invaluable experience across the Middle East, Bangladesh, and the UK, taking on various hospitality roles that have shaped his expertise in restaurant and event management.

As a key figure within the Aziz brand of restaurants, Rashel is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
